Isabel Valencia, M.D.

Dr. Isabel Valencia has been with Tampa Palms Dermatology since October of 2008.

She received her M.D. degree in 1992 from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Miami where she was chief resident during her final year of training. Dr. Valencia completed a dermatopathology fellowship at the the Ackerman Academy in New York.

Dr. Valencia worked for 2 years in a private practice in Millburn, New Jersey. From 2006 to 2007, she was an assistant professor at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology.

Dr. Valencia is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. In addition to her clinical practice at Tampa Palms Dermatology, she works as a dermatopthologist at Dermpath Diagnostics, a division of Quest Diagnostics. Dr. Valencia is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology.
